Why Viksit Bharat ?
Viksit Bharat Dialogues & Awards 2025 is a national recognition program initiated by Bharat Economic Forum to honor individuals, organizations, and initiatives contributing to India’s development. This inaugural edition marks the beginning of a 22-year transformative initiative (2025–2047) to steer India toward becoming a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, creators and innovators, this platform aims to create actionable roadmaps for sustainable and inclusive growth. The inaugral edition will be held on 23rd March 2025, at the Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi (10:00 AM – 06:00 PM).

Award Categories
Viksit Bharat Awards are given by Bharat Economic Forum in 3 Categories & 11 Specializations. In total, 100 Awards are given at a frequency of 100 days during our Regional/International Event in which there are 35 Viksit Bharat Leadership Awards, 35 Viksit Bharat Innovation Awards and 30 Viksit Bharat Creators Awards to celebrate excellence in leadership, creativity and innovation to accelerate the vision of achieving Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Recognizing visionary leaders who inspire progress, drive impactful policies, and create transformative social and economic change. This award honors government officials, corporate leaders, social entrepreneurs, and changemakers shaping India’s future.

Honoring digital creators who use media as a force for social good. This award recognizes influencers, storytellers, and content creators across 30+ categories, amplifying voices that inspire, educate, and bring positive change in the society through their content.

Evaluation Criteria
The event is organized as a season of 100 days each having multiple episodes in a single season. In a single episode, there are 30 pitchers and 6 Influencer Judges.

90 Seconds Pitch
Once you are selected for the live pitch on stage after your Profile Evaluation is complete, you are required to self evaluate yourself by choosing a number secretly between 1 to 10 and start your 90 seconds pitch on Self/National Economic Development
Score Matching
After the pitch, the Influencer Judges are given 90 seconds to give score between 1 to 10. The Judges whose score match with yours promote you for public polling and if the average of all judge score matches your score, then all judges promote you online

Public Polling
After the pitch is over, its video is put forward for public polling and the sentiments of public comments are tracked. Those with maximum engagement get shortlisted into the final list of Viksit Bharat Awardees and get felicitated by BEF at end of that season.

Each specialization is created to address a specific subject relevant for building Viksit Bharat and all the 3 Awards are mapped to the relevant Specializations to foster meaningful dialogues and honor visionary leaders, innovators, and changemakers who are shaping the future of India through transformational initiatives. Whether in business, governance, technology, finance, law, media, environment, or culture, these awards serve as a platform to acknowledge excellence and inspire others to contribute to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
